Despite the astounding and astonishing events that have occurred for the people, the greatest of all signs of the end of time, and yet the least talked about is the return of the Jewish people to the Promised Land and the founding of the State of Israel.
No one knows when the end will come, but various signs are already happening ... and there are many who do not want to see, that various passages in the bible are already flowing. You know that saying that "the worst blind is the one who does not want to see", because it is nowadays many of them out there.
... Jesus left the temple and, as he walked, his disciples came to him to show him the temple buildings.
"Are you seeing all this?" He asked. "I assure you, there will not be left here one stone upon another, they will all be overthrown."
When Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately and said, "Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?"
Jesus answered, "Be careful that no one deceives you.
For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ!' And shall deceive many.
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but do not be afraid. It is necessary for such things to happen, but it is not yet the end.
Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
All this will be the beginning of the pains.
"Then shall they deliver them up to be persecuted and condemned to death, and you shall be hated by all the nations for my sake.
At that time many will be scandalized, they will betray and hate each other,
And many false prophets shall arise and deceive many.
Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of many will grow cold,
But he who endures to the end will be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.
"So when you see 'the terrible sacrilege' spoken of by the prophet Daniel in the Holy Place - whoever reads, understand -
Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
Whoever is on the roof of his house does not come down to get anything out of it.
Whoever is in the field does not come back to take his cloak.
How terrible those days will be for pregnant women and for those who are breastfeeding!
Pray that your flight will not happen in winter or on the Sabbath.
For there shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, nor shall there ever be.
If those days were not shortened, no one would survive; But for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
And if anyone says, 'See, here is the Christ!' Or, 'There he is!', Do not believe me.
For there will appear false Christs and false prophets who will perform great signs and wonders, if possible, to deceive even the elect.
Notice that I warned you in advance.
"So if anyone says, 'He is there in the wilderness,' do not go out, or 'There he is, inside the house!' Do not believe me.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and is seen in the west, so shall the coming of the Son of man be.
Where there is a corpse, there shall the vultures be gathered together.
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days
"'The sun will be darkened,
And the moon shall not give her light;
The stars will fall from the sky,
And the celestial powers
They shall be shaken. '
"Then shall the sign of the Son of man appear in heaven, and all the nations of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send forth his angels with a great sound of the trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
"Learn the lesson of the fig tree: when your branches are renewed and their leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near.
So also, when you see all these things, know that he is near at the gates.
I assure you that this generation will not pass away until all these things come to pass.
The heavens and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
The unknown day and time
"No one knows the day or the hour, neither the angels of the heavens, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the coming of the Son of man.
For in the days before the Flood, the people lived eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark;
and they did not realize it until the Flood came and took them all away. So shall it be in the coming of the Son of man.
Two men will be in the field: one will be taken away and the other left.
Two women will be working in a mill: one will be taken and the other left.
"Watch therefore, for you do not know in what day your Lord will come.
But understand this: if the master of the house knew at what time of night the thief would come, he would stand guard and would not let his house be broken into.
So you also need to be prepared, because the Son of man will come in an hour when you least expect it.
"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord commends to the other servants of his household to give them food in due season?
Blessed is the servant whom his master finds doing so when he returns.
I assure him that he will take care of all his possessions.
But suppose this servant is evil and say to himself, 'My lord is delaying,'
and then start beating your fellows and eating and drinking with the drunkards.
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he shall not wait for him, and in a time that he knoweth not.
He will punish him severely and give him room with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
